To make up... Here's what happened in between the entries....
17th May
Jared & Jerb's wedding!
=
The Holy Matrimony was held at at SAM (Singapore Arts Museum).
-
It was a beautiful afternoon and the hall was overflowed with people!
-
The crowd kept cheering for both Jared & Jerb and was so "ra-ra" that Pst. Derek jokingly commented that he would like to take the crowd to every wedding he attends.
=
I guess "life & vibrancy" is just part of ET zone's DNA!
=Adding on, the couple is well-loved & respected by the ppl so that's y all of us went to support them in their BIG day!
=I thank Jared, my subzone leader for his wisdom & guidance.
I learnt a lot from him about growing the group and he is indeed one versatile leader who is quick to adjust his style to win ppl.
=
I thank God 4 Jerb too. Out of her mouth flows tremendous wisdom...
I still remember during one sharing session, she shared something that has been stucked with me since then... "In order to grow the cg, we as leaders need to grow in our capacity as well!"
=
Jerb really loves ppl a lot.
Even during her BIG day, before she marches into the hall, she made an enthusiastic youth feel so important by askg gently, "Are you going to hold the door for me? Wow... Thank you!"
=
I'm very blessed to know both of them in the zone and certainly wish them all the best as they enter into the next phase of life together!
=
Here are some shots during HM...

19th May (Vesak Day)
Camp Phenomena Meeting
=
The leaders seized the P.H., gathered at Lucas' home to brainstorm ideas for camp.
=
We reached ard 2p.m. and stayed till 7-plus before leaving for dinner at Holland V.
=
The night was still young and we continued to chill out at "Cosy Upstairs" till 11-plus.
It was a great evening filled with jokes & laughter!
=

I fulfilled my promise to bring Roy and Jee Hae to try authentic Korean food.
=
I Invited my two secondary friends Sharlyn and Tracer along as well. These two friends of mine are very INTO Korean stuff. They have been learning the language for four years, watched countless Korean dramas, and visited the country many times.
=
Each time, when we went out together... Out of 10 gatherings, 7 took place in a Korean restaurant cos they wanted to explore different ones in search for the "BEST" Korean food in Singapore!
=
And the one that we went to... "Togi", was one of our previous meeting place and coincidentally, it was owned by one of my Korean students (formerly studying in the private school where I used to work in). Ha ha.... We met for the 1st time after 5 years!
=
As we opened the menu, Roy and Jee Hae's eyes popped real wide-open! Authentic korean food! They were on all smiles!!!
=
(These are pork bellies... lots of fats ya?)
=
1.Wrap the fried pork belly + rice into lettuce
2. Put a bit of soya bean paste into the "filling"
3. Pop the whole thing into mouth *Yummy*
=
(Next up... Chicken soup! Looks spicy but rest assured it's not so.)
=
((Look at the spread on the table! Can u imagine how much we ate?)
(Chilled out at TCC before heading home...)
It was a night of FUN!
Both Jee Hae and Roy are so funny!
They kept teasing each other and almost every 10mins pop a joke... and all of us are like... laughing NON-STOP!
