Amazing Grace!

This is the 1st or 2nd Christian song I heard when I was a child.
In 2006/7, Chris Tomlin presented this classic in another flavor... with the love of God remained or even more tasteful!

Video's beautiful- Picturesque setting with falling leaves...

I keep replayg n sing along until I rem e lyrics now. :-)

Esp. like e part "The Lord has promised good to me... ... His Word my hope secures"

Watch the video and feel HIS love...

***************
Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind, but now I see

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed

My chains are gone
I've been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, Amazing grace

The Lord has promised good to me
His word my hope secures
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow
The sun forbear to shine
But God, Who called me here below
Will be forever mine
Will be forever mine
You are forever mine

More Books...

I've bought $90++ worth of books in one day!
Wonder if it is the result of one of my prayer item? To be more in love w His Word... Haha.

The one in purple is a bible comic that is written in both English and Chinese.
I can learn how to share bible stories using simple Chinese.
Also, it serves as a great tool to arouse a new believer's interest in reading the bible!

I love the one in blue as well!
It shares in a simple way... who's who and where's where in the Bible?

Above which, I am currently reading...
- "The Gifts & Ministries of the Holy Spirit" by Lester Sumrall
- "Power & Glory" by Paul Tan

How am I going to conquer all these books?
One step at a time...
I love reading anyway!

Chinese/ English Bible

I have bought my 1st bilingual bible today!

NIV, simplifed Chinese version at S$36 - the best available so far...

Given a choice, I would prefer a NKJV w BIGGER FONTS but currently, there is none in the market.

According to the Shop Asst., few wants to print bilingual bibles bcos of the extensive amount of translation work involved.
So... rather than carry on waiting, I might as well act 1st!

Believe this bilingual bible will help me a great deal in preaching and bible study!

Another step towards destiny! *YEAH*

An uphill task?
Ya... God help me!
Reward >> See more ppl from above... :)

Jogged to Kovan!

Just returned from jogging! Refreshed!

I changed my usual route; jogged from Sgoon to Kovan instead!
This is relatively EASY cos some courses are downhill.

Feeling no kick, I purposefully lengthened the journey by circling around Hougang interchange before finishing at Selegie Soya Bean to have a bowl of soya bean curd!

Next... Should I take a bus home or walk back?

Guess my option?

I walked back...
while praying in the spirit along the way.

I past by "Helping Hands".
Peering through the fence, I saw a big brown dog!
As I continued walking, I realised the main gate was wide-open!

Breaking into cold sweat, my survivor instinct taught me to walk on the road instead of the pavement so that I could stop a car and ask for help just in case the dog pounced on me.

At that moment, I'm glad I wasn't jogging.
Had the dog saw me jog, he might have run after me!
Anyway, the dog minded his own biz and did not come out frm the house. *PHEW*

However, I did not let down my guard.
While walking, I kept turng back... just to check if the dog came out!
Thank God it did not.

When I reached my void deck, it started POURING!!!
Yup! Not drizzling but POURING!!!
Glad it rained only AFTER I reached home!

God is good! :)

Preaching with Passion!!!

This boy is just sooooo CUTE!

He looked like he knew what he was doing..."preaching" with fire in the belly!!!
I like the way he hopped from one end to the other, rounded off by hugging the host and after which, gracefully descended the stairs.

I had fun watching the video over and over again!
