Bangkok, Here I Come!!!

1 more day before I fly to Bangkok!

I can’t wait to experience the FLOATING MARKET, shop in CHATUCHAK, MBK etc. and ascend the BAIYOKE SKY TOWER!

Busy traffic? Hot weather? Doesn’t matter!

I like adventures!

Laughing It Off!

I was just doing my usual QT on Mon night.

At the end of QT, I felt so much better after praying through a few issues that had been weighing my heart.

Just as I was about to end, the Holy Spirit reminded me about... "Holy Laughter".

I told God I really want to experience it in my QT.

Taking a step of faith, I closed my eyes, made a sincere prayer to the Lord and laid hand on my head.

The atmosphere thickened.

Shortly, I felt my lips stretching. The next moment, I started giggling.

At that point of time, one side of me kept on rationalisg that these were man-made.

But, somehow, I just simply could not contain the joy within and let out a few suppressed laughter!

Pressing on my abdomen, I fell side way, went on my back and began laughing on the floor!

I had to keep the volume low because I did not want to wake my parents up and made them wonder why was their daughter laughing like that, on the floor, in the middle of the night? ;-p

It's really a good time of holy laughter!

Tell u somethg funny... I pointed at myself in the mirror saying, "Joanne, you look good! That should be the way!" Hee...

I had a good one-hr QT and found myself smiling to bed.

And before retiring for the day, I checked my sms and smiled at some apology msgs for getting back late... Hee... "Ya, It happens sometimes"

Guess what happen the next morning?

Did I continue smiling when I get up?
=

Ha ha!!! No lah... I got up and quickly set off to work.

In the office, there were quite a number of things to settle.

But, thank God, I managed to solve it one-at-a-time, and even had the luxury of listening to music while working.

I logged on to http://www.imeem.com/ (a great music website), plugged my ear piece to the CPU and listened to the new worship song "Walau Seribu Rebah"- sang in church last week.

I was wonderfully soaked in the presence of God.

To my pleasant surprise, the same song was sung at the leaders' meeting later in the evening! *Yeah!!!*

Bro Ed shared a good word "SOLVITURE AMBULANDO" (which means solving by walking in Latin) and about how important it is to have "Holy Living" + "Holy Friends".

I'm very blessed by the message!

After the Word, we spent some time worshipping God.

God's presence was so strong!

Honestly speaking, I really dun wish to end the evening after the song ended.

"God... I want a touch from You! Please..."

A while later, Bro Ed told everyone to stand up and worship God.

Is he going to lay hands? I secretly hope... Yes!

All the leaders & helpers continued worshipping the Lord while Garv played the same spirit chords over and over again.

It was a moment of waiting upon the Holy Spirit...

And suddenly, a hand came upon my hand and I immediately broke into tears.

I fell under the power of God and cried my heart out!

I thought about a lot of things and made a decision to let go and let God.

At the end of the meeting, I left, feeling lighter in my heart, but heavy in my love tank. That's what I want.

God, thank you!

Here's Joycelyn... She's the amazing woman behind all the bridesmaids' make up & hairdo! Not easy cos she needs to do it for 5 bridesmaids within a short time and she willingly helped out despite her exam the next day! Thanks girl!

Em is so sweet...

Before her big day, she wrote a letter to brief the "Ah Yees" abt. the wedding theme etc. and after the wedding dinner, she gave us each a "Thank You" note w a small gift to appreciate the helpers! That's really so Em- a sincere, genuine & thoughtful friend!
